Who We Are

The Yorùbá World Carnival is an international cultural festival hosted in Lagos, Nigeria, celebrating the richness of Yoruba identity, creativity, and innovation. Inspired by the energy of Brazilian Carnival, the event unites Yoruba descendants and cultural allies from Nigeria, the Americas, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Organized by the Center for African Citizenship and Economy (CACE) and supported by global and governmental partners, the carnival brings together tradition and future-forward thinking.

To create a global cultural platform that:
